Simple, natural qiviut means a scarf with a texture and drape of unbelievable quality. 

Made by us on a vintage knitting machine—and bound off/finished by hand. This item is custom made for you in the colour and pattern of your choice. (Note: not all patterns are suitable for certain types of knitwear!)

Dimensions: 8.75’’ wide by 43’’

Materials: 100% Qiviut    OR    60% Qiviut, 30% Cashmere, 10% Silk

Please note that the production time for made-to-order knitwear items is currently 8-12 weeks, as our small team hand-combs qiviut directly from muskox hides, washes the fibre and picks out guard hairs, and then mills the qiviut with the utmost care to produce the finest yarn. Yarns are then dyed (unless ordered in a natural shade) and then knit up on one of our vintage machines before being hand-seamed and finished. 

QIVIUT QUALITY GUARANTEE: At Qiviut Inc, our qiviut fibre is 100% sourced from wild NWT muskoxen sustainably harvested for food in Inuit communities. We comb out our fibre by hand to preserve the full staple length, and we make all our products here in Canada!
